New Wine is a new church, working to gather a group of people that want to be transformed and see our community transformed by the good news Jesus brought.
Sundays at 11am at 415 E. Maple in Mason.
Come as you are. You’ll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, good coffee and music. Children (birth-5th) will enjoy connecting to God with imagination and play.
New Wine began on the banks of Sycamore creek, gathering to perform complicated religious rituals like eating together, talking about our lives, and listening to each other. We are now worshipping together at the former Nazarene church on Maple Street.
We hope that we will find grace and strength for another week of living. We think and strategize about ways to become better humans.
We imagine ways to make reality different. We remember that Jesus asked prostitutes, seditionists, and uneducated guys with low paying jobs to help him change the world. He invited wealthy traitors, women with powerful political connections, and religious leaders that were disenfranchised from established practices to join as well. We hope God will send us the help we need to do the things he intends for us to do. After you get to know us, we imagine that it might even be you.
